Danfoss offers a wide – range of automation products, which are applied in various industries. The main products are as follows:
- Drive Products: Danfoss’ variable – frequency drives are quite famous. For example, the VLT® AQUA Drive FC 202 can control all types of pumps and is equipped with a multi – pump controller. The FC102 is sturdy and intelligent, which can enhance the application of pumps and fans in building management systems and support outdoor operation in most climatic conditions. The FC103 is dedicated to controlling compressors, pumps, and fans, which can save a large amount of energy for refrigeration equipment. In addition, the VLT® MCD 100 soft – starter is cost – effective and compact, which can provide basic soft – start and stop functions and can be easily installed on a DIN rail.
- Automotive Control Products: Danfoss has a complete set of travel solutions, providing advanced automatic transmission functions to make off – road vehicles easier to operate and control. When the operator depresses the accelerator, Danfoss technology will automatically control the engine speed, hydraulic pump, and motor displacement. It also has four independent driving modes, automatic driving modes for operation and transportation, a constant – speed mode, and a creep speed mode. Moreover, it is compatible with all CAN J1939 components on the market, and the control system meets the requirements of PL c (ISO13849) and SIL2 (IEC 61508).
- HVAC and Energy Control Products: Danfoss provides a comprehensive set of controllers, actuators, and sensors, which can be used to control heating, ventilation, air – conditioning, lighting, and other functions in supermarkets. These components can be integrated into the Danfoss System Manager for easy monitoring and operation. For example, the AK – LM 350 is a complete monitoring unit, which can be used to detect the temperature, pressure, and other functions in and around commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment cases and cold rooms.
- Conveyor – related Drive Products: The VLT® drives can provide optimized motor control for conveyor applications, improve product quality and consistency, minimize waste, and optimize the entire filling and packaging area. The VLT® FlexConcept® is suitable for use in hygiene – critical subsystems, and its motors have been certified by the Fraunhofer Institute IPA and can be directly used in clean rooms and aseptic production plants.
- Autonomous Hardware Products: Danfoss offers all – around ruggedized hardware solutions designed specifically for autonomous machines, including telematics and planning interfaces, perception sensors, advanced controls with machine learning, electric controls, power, and hydraulics. The PLUS+1® remote control represents the latest technology of the human – machine interface, which can keep the operator at a safe distance and improve productivity. In addition, many sensors in its product portfolio are PLUS+1® compliant, which can be linked to the control system to achieve precise control.
